Account book, 1828-1842.

Records debits and credits accrued by Turner from 1828 to 1842 for sales of woods and such services as carting, drawing timber, and plowing. References are made to a tannery owned by Jason Whiting and beef sold by someone named Penlinton. When Turner hauled cherry boards to George Daye's shop he was paid in furniture. In 1830, Turner supplied the timber and carted loads of gravel, stones, and dirt for a mill Tomlinson Wells was building. There are also several pages of accounts with Dr. Samuel Buel (1782?-1855), a well-known Litchfield practitioner.
